Cranberry & Sweet Onion Cream Cheese Dip

Ingredients
- 1 cup caramelized sweet onions, diced (approximately 1 medium sweet onion)
- 1 jalapeno, diced
- 8 oz sharp Provolone cheese, grated (may substitute cheddar cheese)
- 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce, canned or fresh
- 1/2 cup fresh cranberries (may be substituted with frozen but do not thaw)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In a medium-large mixing bowl, stir together the cream cheese and shredded cheese until combined
- Stir in the remaining ingredients
- Spoon the cheese and cranberry mixture evenly into baking dish, and top with ¼ cup shredded cheese
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes until bubbly in the middle and slightly brown around the edges
- Serve immediately with crostini, pretzels, or pita chips
- Garnish with fresh cranberries and rosemary if desired
